When God Speaks in the Night
“For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a
vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, then He
opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.”— Job 33:14–16 (NKJV)
The night has a voice.
When the noise of the day fades and human reasoning quiets, the Spirit of God often chooses to
whisper mysteries, warnings, and instructions through the vehicle of dreams. Dreams are not
merely the leftovers of an overactive imagination—they are windows into the realm of the spirit.
They are one of heaven’s ancient languages, used by God to convey truth, direction, and destiny.
From Genesis to Revelation, God consistently used dreams to preserve lives, shift nations, and
activate the prophetic. Yet today, many believers downplay this channel of communication,
assuming it is either unreliable or irrelevant. Some are active dreamers but lack understanding.
Others discard their dreams, unaware that they have just been handed a scroll from the throne
of God.
