What is a Vision?
A vision is a divine revelation where the Lord imparts what is bound to happen through
vivid imagery, whether from the past, present, or future. It involves peering into the spirit
realm, making what may not be apparent in the physical world visible. At its essence, a
vision represents the highest echelon of insight, tapping into the profound power of the
imagination.
Drawing inspiration from Joel 2:28 (KJV):
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young
men shall see visions:"
This scripture meticulously outlines three distinct categories of individuals and the
unique revelation components assigned to each:
1. Your sons and daughters shall prophesy.
2. Your old men shall dream dreams.
3. Your young men shall see visions.
It's important to recognize that these age categories transcend the physical aspect, as the
experience of dreaming is universal. Even babies in their mother’s womb engage in this
mysterious realm of dreams. A spiritually discerning individual can decipher the dream
patterns of a child yet unborn, nestled in the womb of their mother.
I have come to realize that in every location I reside, there are taverns or beer parlors in
close proximity to my home. Whether I am leaving or returning, my surroundings are
filled with young men engaged in the consumption of alcohol. These people dedicate a
significant amount of their time to this activity.
