Although much has been deliberated in the prophetic arena evidenced by the voluminous books
written on the prophetic and the mushrooming of Prophetic Schools across the Body of Christ,
there are still lingering questions across the Body of Christ with regards to the dynamics of
prophesying accurately, precisely and articulately.
Have you ever wondered how some ministers have been catapulted into higher realms of forensic
prophecy, to the extent of revealing and excavating hidden mysteries and microscopic details
pertaining to people’s names, residential addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, birth dates,
car number plates and other demographic details, yet within a particular period of time with all the
anointing and the prophetic grace that was given to them, we no longer hear of them? These
prophets are gifted but their anointing is like balloon that goes high into the skies and we no longer
hear or see that balloon again. I have seen men rise in the prophetic ministry, I have seen men rise
and fall in the same season.
The concern now in the prophetic ministry is that many rise and within a short period of time we
no longer hear of those men again. They will appear and manifest grace for 2 years and 10 years
down the line, we no longer hear of those men again. But heaven is supposed to traced time to the
prophet in his generation. Until the prophet is no more it is his time forever and ever because
whatever carries God does not expire.
Matthew 11:12 - And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth
violence, and the violent take it by force.
In the above verse our Lord Jesus made us understand that heaven identified time to men. He didn't
mention a year but he said from the days of John the Baptist. John the Baptist was the man of his
season and days but in his days, there were about 318 Sanhedrin but he seized that time until he
was no more.
We are supposed to seize the times we are in, until we are no more and even if we have been called
home by God, our names and legacy remains on earth and should still preach to men and bring
salvation to many.
One day I read an account of a particular man of God; Prophet William Branham, one of the
greatest prophets who ever lived on earth and when I read the account, I was revived. Just by
reading his story I was revived. May our stories revive the next generation! May our lives bring
salvation to the next generation that will come after us.
Prophets don't expire because the God they carried don't expire. Until you stop carrying God, you
will always be the man of the moment and of your generation. Prophets shine in seasons and out
of season because their source is God.
